Nine Year Old Marriage Activist

Meet Steven. He's nine years old and an activist for marriage equality. Because he wants to be, not because of something some adult forced on him (ahem: people that make their kids hold horrible signs with horrible words against gays).

If you want to read one of the most touching stories I've read in a really long time, you should check out Steven's story. Even cuter than him might be how proud his parents and teacher are of him.

The most touching thing about this story is that it comes right at the same time as the new NOM ad claiming children will be "confused" by same-sex marriages.

Well, technically, Steven is confused, and so am I. If two people love each other and want to share their lives, why can't they be married even if they're the same gender? I'm an adult, and I'm confused as to why same-sex marriage isn't legal.

WOW, just read the article. I think it is a bit cooler that his parents (I assume) are heterosexual. That seems to make him more partial.

Thanks for posting the article.
