Wedding Pictures
Ok everyone, here are two pictures from the wedding. We haven't gotten anything back from the photographer yet (who is actually a friend of ours), so these are just a couple a friend sent me. I'll try to upload a few more later. And, I still owe you guys the synopsis too.Oh yeah--I'm the one with the darker hair.

Aww, I wish I were there. Why didn't you fly me out? I could have taken pictures and had a better turn around ;) I can't wait for more. My favorite thing about them is in the second one, you can see a similar picture being taken in that digital camera! Haha.

I pray and ask God to bring you both understanding and God will take these desires from you if you seek God and put him first in your life. There was Adam and Eve God put breath into. He didn't make in his as mates to multiple Adam and Steve. I love you both and hope God bring you understanding what you doing is wrong! God put us here to multiply and man and man can't do that. Adoption is adoption bearing your own fruit is a blessing from God. You to take care and trust in God to deliver you from your wrong doing

Sharee- thanks for commenting. I'm sorry you feel that way. There are a few contradictions in your statement, not the least of which is that even if I decided not to embrace being gay, I still wouldn't be having kids. As for your implication that there is something wrong with adopting kids...I feel sorry for foster kids in your worldview.
I don't know you, but I am happy for you. I wish you and J all the happiness in the world. And please know (as I'm sure you do) that God DOES love you both as much as he loves all of mankind, and not all Christians are idiots.

Wait. I just re-read Sharee's comment about adoption. My kids are adopted. Moses was adopted. Jesus was adopted. If God had a problem with adoption he would not have had 2 of his most influential leaders be adopted. For crying out loud, Moses was adopted by the very people who were killing, enslaving, and oppressing the Isrealites - his chosen people.
Surely she is not saying that we are not as blessed because we adopted. When we told the wife of our children's pastor we were adopting, her face fell and she said, "I'm so sorry you don't have the faith to believe for a child of your own".
It takes MORE faith to care for a child that you did not birth. You are relying on someone else to fulfill your dreams and relying on someone else to have taken proper care of themselves so this child comes out healthy.
There are a LOT of wonderful Christians who are authentic and have a relationship with God and therefore have the understanding that we are all equal and fearfully and wonderfully created by God. Then, there are the Sharee's.
Hmmm...I'll be praying and asking God to bring Sharee understanding and that God will give Sharee wisdom, knowledge, and insight into his true character and how much he loves his creation - all of his creation, the gays and the adoptees.
