It's my birthday today, everyone (and my twin brother's)!I'm really starting to feel old these days. 27 is officially late 20's. I feel younger than that, though. That's a good thing, right?

I'm really starting to feel old these days. 27 is officially late 20's. I feel younger than that, though. That's a good thing, right?

I remember when all I wanted was to touch a guy unabashedly in the simplest of ways, or to snuggle up to a guy in a non-sexual way.
I've always had a close relationship with my mom, though, and given that she taught me to stand up for what is simple and right, and to live productively, avoiding shame and self-loathing as much as possible, Richard Cohen's appearance on Paula Zahn's CNN show really disturbed me.

Steve- I waited for that segment to air on Monday, but when it didn't I ended up missing it last night since I was out for dinner for my b-day.
But, I read the transcript and just read your entry (yours puts it in really good perspective). Pretty ubelievable stuff...
Happy Birthday guy! I was fifty-two on my last one. You take care of yourself when you're youngish and life is still good at middle age. And you've got a long way to go for that yet so don't worry. Enjoy. Have fun. Eat recklessly.
