Donnie McClurkin on BET

BET is currently playing the biography of Donnie McClurkin, an ex-gay Pastor and gospel singer. The show is still playing right now. So far it has been a fairly heart-wrenching story of his childhood and molestation. Into his adult life, the biography has made passing references to his 20 year struggle with his sexuality, but his music has taken the forefront of the story. I'll keep watching and update this post if anything new comes along.

I have had the pleasure of being a member of perfecting in detroit where donnie mcclurkin was a member. I didn't know him personally, I used see him around the church. I have listened to him sing and preach. I know he and Pastor Winans are good friends. I am still a member of Perfecting church. I believe Pastor Donnie Mcclurkin is sincere in what he is doing. I wish him all the best.

I think McClurkin may be still gay, because he is constantly protesting against the lifestyle. It seems to me that he's trying to convince himself that he's not gay anymore. I feel you can't stop being gay, if thats the case you can stop being strait also.

I am a born again believer. I just was what TBN last night(8-18-08) and that was really my first time hearng Pastor Donnie talk about his molestation and thought or acts of being gay. Let me tell you people who are messing with the man of God leaving all these negative comments. God has given us all a birthdate as well as a death date. Our whole entire life is already predestined. That's why he left all the promises to make in life in the book called the Bible because through him we can do all things. We are more than conquers through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. Donnie had to go throug process as every man and woman of God did. Paula White, T.D. Jakes all those people went through what God already predestined over there lives. We all will if its rape, death , prison, molestation, what have you in order for you to recieve what God has for you you must go through. God said when a man is reborn all things are new behold all old things have passed away so don't judge God's man Donnie. He's a new creature. In spite his tragic child hood was not his fault but because God had a plan for him he endure his hurt, trial, tribulations, because God is our fortress, our saviour and he will never put nothing on you you can't bear. So we has christian need to start praying for one another and not judging. God Bless all of you that don't see the marvoulous work he started in Pastor Donnie and will finish. I LOVE YOU PASTOR DONNIE WILL KEEP YOU AND TBN IN MY PRAYERS
