Busy Busy
A while back after I started this blog I made a post about running out of things to say. I'm not going to make that specific post right now, but that is certainly part of the reason for the lack of posts recently. That and I've been spending more time on work/social life and less time on the computer. The less I get to read other blogs and follow the news, the less I have to say, which makes sense since I post about political and news type of stuff mostly anyway. So, I'm sure I'll have more to discuss in the coming days. Until then, go read this story about 28 cars being vandalized in the parking lot of EJ's, a gay bar in my hometown. You know, there are so many times when I walk around and feel completely safe/comfortable being gay. Then stupid stuff like this happens.

I don't know what to think about this. Do you really think it's a hate crime? Maybe the issue here is that EJ's patrons are parking where they're not supposed to be parking, or that other proprietors feel EJ's patrons are blocking access to their businesses.
Otherwise 28 cars is a lot of hate ... :(
Shorty- I'd like to hope that it was just some random act of vandalism or some reason other than the gayness of it. But, the cars were vandalized in the EJ's parking lot, so those ideas might not be right.
28 cars is a lot of hate. How did no one see that happen?
I hate when stuff like this happens. It bursts my security bubble. Recently in Scotland I saw direct homophobic agression and it took my breath away. Here I was feeling all safe and comfortable and then for days I felt vulnerable and scared. I hate that.
Anyone who commits acts of vandalism is an idiot. The first time they should lose a finger and from there punishments should get progressivly worse. Well it would cut down on crime atleast wouldnt it? :)
